A partner signs every report. Technology does the routine checking.

How our engagements are run, from acceptance to the signed report or filing.

What we hold to.

  1. Independence before acceptance.

Before we accept work, we check that it is compatible with any audit we hold for the same client and with the ICAI Code of Ethics.

  2. A named partner.

Each engagement has one partner who agrees the scope, reviews the work and signs the output.

  3. Work on file.

Planning, evidence and conclusions are documented, so any figure in a report can be traced to its support.

  4. Clear reporting.

Findings are written so that the owners and the board can act on them without a second meeting.

Technology, used with judgement.

Software checks the volume. Professionals review the exceptions.

Ledger scrutiny, reconciliations and recurring reports are run with tools. Estimates, judgements and unusual items are reviewed by a Chartered Accountant.

Records in order first

Ledgers, masters and supporting documents organised before any analysis is relied on.

Your existing systems

We work with the accounting software you already run, including Zoho, Tally, Odoo and NetSuite.

Review and sign-off

Every output produced with the help of a tool is reviewed by a named person before it leaves the firm.

The rhythm of an engagement.

  1. Accept

Scope, independence and timetable agreed, and confirmed in an engagement letter.

  2. Plan

Risks and focus areas identified with management.

  3. Perform

Work carried out and documented, with queries raised as they arise.

  4. Report

Findings discussed with management, then the report, certificate or filing issued under a partner's signature.
